A two-year old little girl sits watching Sesame Street on the television. Suddenly a ballerina and her partner appear on the television. The little girl starts twirling and and dancing around the living room. The seed had been planted. She begs her momma to put her in dance. After many phone calls...her mother found a dance school that would accept such a young student.

And so the dream began...

Ok...so you figured it out!

Yup. It’s about me, Angela. It is amazing how time flies. I still remember what that ballerina looked like! I remember watching my mom making phone calls anxious to see if I would be able to take dance lessons.

After years of dreaming and dancing, The Next Step Dance Academy was born in 2000.

It is such a blessing that after 25 years starting dance lessons, I am still dancing. Now I have the chance to share my dream, experience and education with others as the director/owner of The Next Step Dance Academy.
